After opening its season tonight in Baldwin City against Ottawa University, the No. 15-ranked Benedictine Women's Basketball team will host a pair of games inside the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium starting at 12 on Saturday.

Tonight and Saturday are being billed as the Heart-KCAC Challenge as Baker University and Benedictine represented the Heart of America Athletic Conference while Ottawa and the University of St. Mary represent the KCAC.

Ottawa and Baker will take to Dugan Jones Court first at 12 p.m., followed by the Ravens and USM at 2 p.m.

Saturday marks unofficial return of basketball's old "Halloween Hoops" event to the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium. The nicknamed event took place prior to 2020 during an afternoon and allowed trick-or-treaters to get dressed up and come to the Nolan to meet the teams. The twist on the event is that now, fans are encouraged to attend Saturday's game in costume! There will be a Halloween Costume Contest for Benedictine students at halftime and another for our younger fans during the third and fourth quarter break.

Come out to campus on Saturday to support the Ravens and bring your best Halloween costumes!
