MARYVILLE, Mo. – Benedictine Women's Indoor Track & Field took second place at the annual Heart Indoor Track Championships over the weekend.
Benedictine scored 179.5 points behind Central Methodist University who scored 201 points to win this year's championships.
In total, the Raven Women earned 36 all-conference selections. Cecilia Campos was named the top Women's Point scorer as she was crowned champion in the 800 meter, 1,000 meter and was part of the 4x800 meter relay conference champion and a 4x400 meter runner up. In addition to wining the 1,000 meter, Campos also set a new meet record with her time of 2:59.51. Betsy Skendzel was named the top Women's Freshman point scorer, winning the 5,000 meters and placing second in the 3,000 meters. Her times in both events broke the previous meet record, but her time in the 5,000 meters of 17:58.08 set the new record.
Leah Kuhn was also crowed a conference champion in the 3,000 meter race walk with a time of 16:17.58, hitting the NAIA B standard. The 4x800 meter relay team of Anna Campbell, Annie Wilken, Siena Michael and Cecilia Campos also were crowned conference champions in a time of 9:32.55 - hitting the NAIA B standard. Madison Helten was crowed the conference champ in the triple jump with a jump of 11.74 meters, hitting the NAIA B standard.
The top three finishers in each event will be considered 2026 Heart Indoor Track & Field All-Conference athletes. 1st Place = First Team All-Conference, 2nd Place = Second Team All-Conference, 3rd Place = Third Team All-Conference, and fourth, fifth and sixth place finishers in each event will be considered 2025 Heart Indoor Track & Field Honorable Mention All-Conference.
