GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Benedictine Track & Field returned from the annual NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships with a total of 7 All-Americans as the team placed in the Women's Distance Medley Relay, the Women's 800 meter, the Women's 3,000 meter Race Walk and the Men's 3,000 meter Race Walk.
Owen Nolte won the 3,000 meter Race Walk to earn his second straight NAIA National Championship. He completed the race 11:51.71, setting a new facility record in the process.
On the women's side, Cecilia Campos earned the top mark for the Ravens, placing fourth in the 800 meters in a time of 2:11.79.
In addition to the All-America finish from Campos, Leah Kuhn earned her second All-America finish in the 3,000 meter Race Walk, finishing in a time of 15:45.41.
The Women's Distance Medley Relay also earned All-American honors, placing fifth in a time of 11:51.07. The team of Campos, Brynna Gormley, Anna Campbell and Betzy Skendzel improved on their qualifying time from the prelims by almost 13 seconds.
In addition to the All-America finishes, Maria Connealy and Madison Helton completed in the triple jump for the Raven Women placing 15th and 17th respectively.
