LAMONI, Iowa – After matching No. 21 Graceland University through the first 13 minutes of the game on Saturday, Benedictine Men's Basketball saw its winning streak snapped by the Yellowjackets, 72-49.
The Ravens led by as much as 7 points through the first 10 minutes of the game. After the the third tie of the game, Preston Reynolds gave the Ravens a 22-19 lead with 6:37 remain before halftime.
Graceland held the Ravens to just 6 more points over the remainder of the half while closing the half with a 21-5 run.
A jumper from Harrison Kisling cut the Ravens second-half deficit to 13, but that was all the closer Benedictine would get in the second half as Graceland maintained their double-digit advantage.
Deaglan Sullivan led the Ravens with 14 points while Reynolds finished with 10. Kisling added 9 to round out the Ravens top scorers.
Benedictine remains on the road on Wednesday, traveling to Baldwin City to take on Baker University at 7:30 p.m.
