MARSHALL, Mo. – Benedictine Men's Lacrosse cruised to its third win of Heart play on Sunday, earning a 31-0 win over Missouri Valley College.
Benedictine finished the game holding Missouri Valley without a shot offensively as they scored 11 goals in the second quarter to pull take command of the game by halftime, 18-0.
The Ravens had 11 players find the back of the net, led by Mason Eberle with 7 goals and 2 assists. Trent Harder scored 5 goals with 2 assists while Jonah Salem, John Paul Torgersen, Joey Calabria and Ian Madden scored 3 goals each. Jacob Meyer and Charley McGlinn scored 2 goals each while Aiden Abalos, Keegan Lindsey and Harry Millgan finished with 1 goal each. Madden led the Ravens with 5 assists while Mateo Herbertz and Max Thomason joined Meyer, Torgersen, and Milligan with 2 assists each. Camden Chambers rounded out the offensive efforts with 1 assist.
Thomason went 16 of 17 on face-offs, while Chambers went 7 of 7 and Jac Couri went 7 of 8.
Defensively, the Ravens finished with 18 caused turnovers. Madden and Herbertz were joined by Reed Martin with 3 caused turnovers each.
Benedictine remains on the road for their next two conference games, heading to Columbia (Mo.) on March 28 and William Woods on April 1.
