(1) Women's Lacrosse closes out three-win week with 22-3 win over Culver

CANTON, Mo. – Benedictine Women's Lacrosse closed out a 3-game road swing on Sunday with a 22-3 win over Culver-Stockton College.

Leading 6-1 after the first quarter, the Ravens scored 7 straight throughout the second quarter to lead 13-1 at the break.

Kaylen Moore got the Ravens scoring started inside the first minute of the game. She scored the 11th goal of the game during the second quarter off an asset from Bronwyn Segal to start the running clock.

With the clock running for the final 38 minutes of the game, Ravens added 4 goals in the third quarter and five more in the fourth quarter.

Benedictine finished with a 41-5 advantage in shots while forcing 27 turnovers defensively as they finished with 12 caused turnovers.

Lorelei Siegel led the Ravens scoring effort with 6 goals, followed by Moore and Mackenna Hill with 4 goals each. Lile Chekas scored 3 goals, followed by Kiera Russell, and Emma Rushing with 2 goals each while Izzie Venarsky added 1 goal. Alexa Hildenbrand matched Moore with a 3 assists, followed by Hill with 2 while Segal was joined by Rushing and Venarsky with 1 assist each.

Chekas led the Ravens with 4 caused turnovers, while Hill was joined y Catalina O'Connor with 2 caused turnovers each. Kaylen Moore finished with 6 draw controls and 4 ground balls, while Ava Moore added 4 draw controls while Hill and Venarsky added 4 ground balls each.

Molly Owen earned the win in goal, playing 30 minutes with a save before Monica Klecan and Morgan Wassenberg finished off the game.

The Ravens return home on Saturday, hosting (RV) Missouri Baptist University in Heart play on Legacy Field at 2 p.m.
