KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Off to a 2-1 start to the season, Benedictine Football moved to No. 9 in the first regular-season edition of the STADIONIC NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

Outside of the top two spots in the poll, the entire Top 10 shuffled from the Preseason Poll. Grand View University remained at No. 1 with 13 first-place votes, followed by Keiser (Fla.) at No. 2, Montana Tech at No. 3, College of Idaho at No. 4 and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) at No. 5.

The Ravens and Morningside (Iowa) joined Keiser as the only one-loss teams in the the top 10 of the poll. 

In addition to Grand View and Benedictine, a third member from the Heart of America Athletic Conference remained ranked. William Penn, who suffered its first loss of the season 40-7 on Saturday to Benedictine, moved from No. 13 into a tie for No. 19. Baker University moved up into the poll this week into a tie for No. 24 while MNU remained listed (alphabetically) in the receiving votes category.

Grand View Capsule: The defending national champion remains No. 1 after extending its winning streak to 31 games. Grand View is allowing just 4.7 points per game, second-best in the NAIA, while opponents have managed only 37 yards per game on the ground.

Benedictine Capsule: Benedictine has leaned on a productive ground game while averaging 38.3 points per contest. The Ravens are rushing for 265 yards per game as they continue through an early schedule that has included multiple nationally ranked opponents.

Saturday features a rematch between the Ravens and the Vikings in Des Moines at Duke Williams Stadium – site a heavy snow covered 2025 NAIA Football Championship Series Semifinal. This year's regular-season match up kicks off at Noon on Saturday as the Ravens look to shake up the next Coaches' Poll.

Grand View enters the game ranked second in the NAIA in defensive scoring, while the Ravens hold the advantage in points per game 38.3 to 37.3.
