Biography

2023-2024: Played in 19 games, averaging 8.3 minutes per game. She averaged 2.4 ppg and 1.5 assists per game.

Before Benedictine: Riley Bruggeman is coming to Benedictine College from St. James Academy in Lenexa, Kansas.  Riley, a 5'8" guard, helped to lead her high school team to its first-ever third-place finish at the 5A State Tournament and a 19-6 overall record.  She led her team in scoring averaging 19.8 points per game, to go along with 4.7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.3 steals per game her senior season.  Riley earned First Team All EKL Conference, First Team All-State in 5A, and was a finalist for the Sports in Kansas 5A Player of the Year.  For her career, Riley scored 1,296 points, which is the most ever in St. James Academy history.  Riley is also a very strong student and plans to major in Marketing here at Benedictine College.
