Biography

2018-2019- All Heart Honorable Mention. Started 34 games, averaging 27.3 minutes per game. Averaged 10.3 ppg and 4.3 rebounds per game.

2017-2018: Started 30 games, averaging 28 minutes per game. Averaged 9.9 ppg and 3.1 rebounds per game.

2016-2017: Played in 9 games and scored 4 points.

2015-2016: Redshirted.

Before Benedictine: Nickels averaged 16 ppg and led his team to a 20-6 overall record and 10-0 conference record. The conference championship was the first in fifteen years for Odessa HS. The four-year starter scored over 1,000 points in his career while shooting over 60 percent from the field. He led Odessa in scoring, FG percent and steals his senior year. Colby was selected to the Missouri River Valley Conference First Team and the All-District First Team.
