Biography

2020-2021: First Team All-Heart. Started 26 games, averaging 30.9 minutes per game. Averaged 14.6 ppg, 2.4 rebounds per game, 2.7 assists per game, and 1.1 steals per game.

2019-2020: 2nd team All Heart. Started 24, averaging 27.3 minutes per game. Led the team in scoring, averaging 12.9 ppg. Also averaged 3 rebounds per game and led the team in 3-pointers made with 56.

Before Benedictine: Comes to Benedictine from Metropolitan CC. Austin averaged 22 ppg, 3.5 rpg and 2 apg while shooting 48.8% from the field and 43.5% from 3pt. He was selected 1st team All-Conference and 1st team All-District at MCC. Matt was named the Region 16 Player of the Year and an NJCAA Division II 2nd Team All-American. In high school at Central HS, Austin was a 1000pt scorer, 1st Team All-City, All-Conference, and All-District.
