Coach Javi Beltran Salvo was born and raised in Santiago, Chile. He played at the highest youth level for two professional teams, Santiago Morning (U12-U16) and CD Cobresal (U17-U19). He played collegiately at MidAmerica Nazarene University, where he was part of the team crowned Heart of America Conference regular-season champion (2016) and made two appearances in the NAIA Nationals Tournament in 2016 & 2017. He was named 3rd team All-Conference in 2018 & 2019 in his last two years. 

He received his Bachelor's in Sports Management with a minor in Coaching and a Master's in Science of Management while at MNU, where he also won the Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete award two years in a row. He served as the graduate assistant coach for MNU from 2021-2023, where he had two appearances in the NAIA Nationals Tournament (2021 & 2022). Additionally, he has coached at the youth level for 6 years. 

Coach Beltran is pursuing a Master's in Business Administration at Benedictine College, where he was named the Graduate Assistant Coach in the summer of 2023. He currently holds a USSF C License and coaches for the Kansas Rush Soccer Club.
