Jenna Schwartzhoff

Jenna Schwartzhoff has been a cornerstone of the softball coaching staff since arriving on campus, rapidly ascending the ranks to her current role as Associate Head Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, and Pitching Coach. After serving as a Graduate Assistant (2021–2023) and Assistant Coach (2023–2025), she was promoted to Associate Head Coach in 2025.

Under Schwartzhoff’s guidance, the Raven softball team has reached historic heights. She has mentored two NAIA All-Americans, including Clare Heitz (2024) and standout ace Bailey Selvage (2024, 2026). Schwartzhoff’s specialized instruction fueled a historic career for Selvage, who was named the 2026 Heart of America Conference Pitcher of the Year after shattering Benedictine's school records for career wins, season wins, career strikeouts, and season strikeouts.

Schwartzhoff has helped build Benedictine to a perennial national contender, anchoring a dugout that consistently competes at the highest level of the NAIA, including National Tournament Appearances in 2024 and 2026.

Schwartzhoff joined the coaching ranks after an impressive playing career at fellow Heart of America Athletic Conference member Clarke University. As a pitcher for the Pride, she appeared in 69 career games and was recognized as an elite Scholar-Athlete.

Prior to Benedictine, she served as the Assistant Varsity Coach, Pitching Coach, and Head JV Coach at Xavier High School from 2019 to 2021.

Deeply involved in the athletic and academic community, Schwartzhoff has been a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) since 2022 and lends her expertise to the classroom, teaching the Theory of Coaching Baseball and Softball course at Benedictine.

Schwartzhoff also brings impressive education and professional credentials to Raven softball. She earned her Master of Arts in School Leadership from Benedictine College (2024) and her Bachelor of Arts in Education and History from Clarke University (2021). She is also Rapsodo Certified (advanced pitching data analytics) and is First Aid/CPR Certified.

A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Schwartzhoff enjoys cooking, working out, and passionately cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
