A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jenna Schwartzhoff joined the Raven Softball coaching staff for head coach Paul Hunt in the Summer of 2021 as a graduate assistant. She was elevated to Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator in the Summer of 2023.
Coach Schwartzhoff graduated from fellow Heart of America Athletic Conference school Clarke University in 2021. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and History at Clarke. As a player, Schwartzhoff pitched for the Pride where she appeared in 69 career games, registering 140 strikeouts with a career-high of 52 in 2021.
Before coming to Benedictine, Coach Schwartzhoff was the head JV and Assistant Varsity Softball Coach at Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids. While at Xavier she was tasked with developing the pitching staff.
Schwartzhoff recently completed her Master of Arts in School Leadership degree from Benedictine, as she served as a Graduate Assistant for the program. She joined the staff as a full-time Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator in the summer of 2023. As the Recruiting Coordinator, Schwartzhoff schedules and communicates with all softball recruits. She is also in charge of coordinating Raven Softball Camps.
As an Assistant Coach, she will continue working with the pitching staff. Coach Schwartzhoff is actively involved in recruiting, scouting, film breakdown, assisting Coach Hunt with practices, and coaching first base during games.
