Andi Wilder joined the Raven women’s basketball staff prior to the 2008-2009 season. Coach Wilder came to Benedictine College from fellow conference member Central Methodist University, where she was an assistant coach for three years. While at CMU, she assisted with film exchange, scouting, recruiting, and coaching the JV program. Before Central Methodist, Coach Wilder spent one year as an assistant coach at North Dakota State College of Science, an NJCAA Division I school.
Andi, a native of Fort Collins, CO, played her college basketball at Otero Junior College in Colorado and McPherson College in Kansas, where she earned Academic All-American honors at both schools. She graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from McPherson and earned her Master’s degree in Education at Central Methodist University.
As the assistant coach, Andi is actively involved in recruiting, pre-season and post-season conditioning, film breakdown and scouting, and on-the-floor coaching in practices and games. In addition to her duties as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball program, Andi teaches in the ESL Department here at Benedictine College. She and her husband Steve live in Atchison with their daughter Olivia and their sons James and Will.
