Biography

Before Benedictine: Bartels will be coming to Benedictine College from Marysville High School in Marysville, Kan. She is a 5'10' forward who led her team in scoring and rebounding this past season averaging 13.7 points/game and 10.1 rebounds/game. Sami has been a 4x All-Conference and 3x All-State performer for Marysville High School and finished her career with 891 points and 760 rebounds. She was a three-sport athlete in high school who was also an All-Conference volleyball player and a state qualifier in track and field both her sophomore and junior years. Sami was also an excellent student and was a member of the National Honor Society and was named a Kansas Honors Scholar.
