The Raven Volleyball team won their third straight match on Saturday and in the process snapped the nine-match winning streak of their opponent, Clarke University.
Benedictine (12-5, 5-4 Heart) earned the sweep over Clarke (20-4, 8-2 Heart) as the Ravens earned a 25-18, 25-10, 25-17 win to hand the Pride their first loss since losing to NAIA-ranked Grand View University on September 15.
Benedictine hit .326 over the three-set match, which included a .419-effort during the third set.
As a team, the Ravens finished with 44 kills anchored by the 17 kills of Fluer Wesselink. Kate Hanson, Sara Rahmanzai and Sofi Thomas all added seven.
Taylor Garner anchored the offensive attack with 36 assists as the team finished with 38.
Defensively, Haley Cochran anchored the back-row-effort with 15 digs while Abby Brown added 11. Rahmanzai and Stewart were credited with a block assist each.
The Ravens return to action at Noon on Sunday as they host Mount Mercy University inside the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium.
