The Raven Volleyball team hit the road for the final time in the Heart regular season on Friday and Saturday, traveling to Oskloosa, Iowa and Des Moines to take on William Penn University and No. 2 Grand View University.
Benedictine dropped their match to William Penn 3-2 and then fell to Grand View 3-2.
Against William Penn, the Ravens won the first set and then rallied to take the fourth set before the Statesmen won set five 15-13.
Three Ravens finished in double figures in kills. Makenna Ketter led the attack with 14 followed by Fleur Wesselink with 13 and Elizabeth Nobert with 11.
Emily Dalton and Paxton Throne anchored the attack, which finished with a .165 attack percentage. Dalton finished with 26 assists while Throne added 17.
Defensively, Abby Brown led the back line with 20 digs while Wesselink added 16.Sydney Weidenmann finished with three block assists and one solo block while Nobert and Sara Rahmanzai added two block assists and one solo block each.
Against No. 2 Grand View, Wesselink led the attack with seven kills while Ketter added five.
Throne led the offensive attack with 14 assists while she also led the team with 14 digs defensively.
The Ravens close out the regular season with a pair of home matches inside the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium. They host No. 21 Central Methodist University on Thursday and Missouri Valley College on Friday. Both matches start at 7 p.m.
