BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. – The No. 3-ranked Raven Women's Lacrosse team used nine second-half goals on Saturday to earn their second win over a fellow NAIA-ranked opponent.
Benedictine (6-0) wrapped up their Spring Break road trip with a 16-11 win over No. 6 Lawrence Technical University on Saturday as they finished their trip at 2-0.
Benedictine finished the game with a 45-19 advantage in shots while recording 32 shots on goal to 17 for Lawrence Tech.
Natalie Wechter was back in the top scoring spot for the Ravens as she finished the game with four. Molly Muehlebach, who was the team's leading scorer against Marian, finished with three goals while Aiden McEnerney and Kacey Moore added three goals each as well. Mary McEnerney, Anne Marie Mannella and Emily Ruhland finished with one goal each to round out the Ravens scoring efforts. On two of the Ravens 16 goals were credited with assists as Muehlebach and Ruhland finished with one assist each.
Taryn St. Louis earned the win in goal for the Ravens. She finished with six saves as she went the distance in goal.
Defensively, the Ravens forced Lawrence Tech into 23 turnovers as they recorded 10 caused turnovers. Aiden McEnerney led the way with three followed by Muehlebach, Wechter and Mary McEnerney with two each.
After playing four straight away from campus, the Ravens return to the BC Athletic Complex on Thursday as they host No. 8 Georgetown (Ky.) University at 6 p.m.
