CANTON, Mo. – The Raven Women's Soccer team returned to the road on Saturday and picked up a 2-1 win over Culver-Stockton College.
The Wildcats struck first with all three goals coming in the second half before the Ravens rattled off two straight to improve to 5-1.
After the Wildcats broke the scoreless drought during the 51st minute, the Ravens scored during the 86th minute on a goal from Emma Strecker to even the match at 1-1. Paulina Carles scored what proved to be the game-winning goal during the 88th minute.
The Ravens held a two-shot advantage while they finished with a 7-4 advantage in shots on goal.
Olivia Berry went the distance in goal for the Ravens, recording three saves for the win.
Benedictine returns home on Saturday when they host Heart newcomer Park University at 5 p.m.
