MARSHALL, Mo. – The Raven Women's Soccer team returned to action on Wednesday night after an eight-day layoff falling to Missouri Valley College in overtime 2-1.

Missouri Valley scored during the 34th minute and maintained their lead through the 72nd minute when Benedictine tied the match only to hit the game-winner during the 96th minute.

Benedictine's lone goal was scored by Riley Degner off a deflection inside the box.

Olivia Berry and Ashley Rehagen split time in goal for the Ravens. Berry earned the start and then played in goal during the overtime period. She finished with three saves while Rehagen played the second half and recorded four saves.

Missouri Valley held a 14-8 advantage in shots while they finished with a 9-3 advantage in shots on goal.

The Ravens have two matches remaining in the regular season. After being postponed earlier this season, and then being rescheduled for a different date, the Ravens will now host Clarke University at 6 p.m. on Nov. 11 on Legacy Field.
