PARKVILLE, Mo. (21) Raven Women's Soccer moved to 4-0 in October on Wednesday with their fourth straight win in Heart play.
Benedictine earned a 5-0 win over Park University to secure their seventh shutout of the season.
The Ravens scored three first-half goals and then added two more in the second half to earn the win. Hailey White struck first for the Ravens during the 3rd minute of play, followed by a goal from Gracie Eckardt during the 12th minute. With seconds counting down before the halftime break, Rachel Beffa knocked in a corner kick (embedded tweet) to give the Ravens the 3-0 advantage at the half
The Ravens pair of second-half goals came nearly two minutes apart. Emma Strecker scored off an assist from Madeline Stewart during the 66th minute before Beffa added her second goal of the match during the 78th minute off an assist from Strecker.
Benedictine finished with a 19-14 advantage in shots with Olvia Berry recording four saves in over 77 minutes of work in goal. Caroline Gyllenborg played the final 12 minutes to secure the shutout.
The Ravens return home on Saturday at 5 p.m. to host Graceland University on Legacy Field as part of Benedictine's annual Homecoming Weekend.
