CANTON, Mo. – (RV) Women's Soccer used a 78th-minute goal to break a 1-1 tie and earn their 8th conference win of the season on Wednesday.
Annabelle Hoog scored on an assist from Riley Degner during the 78th minute to give Benedictine a 2-1 win over Culver-Stockton College.
Benedictine scored the first goal of the match. Christine Znidarsic scored on an assist from Sam Mausbach during the 17th minute to give the Ravens an early lead. That lead remained through halftime into the 59th minute when the Wildcats tied the game.
The Ravens finished the game with a 26-6 advantage in shots, including a 15-4 edge in shots on goal.
Olivia Berry earned the win in goal recording 3 saves over 90 minutes.
Benedictine wraps up the regular season on Saturday at 8 p.m. on Legacy Field as they wrap up Homecoming Weekend with a conference match against Grand View University.
