(RV) Women's Soccer wrapped up the regular season on Saturday night with a 2-1 win over Grand View University. By doing so, the Ravens seal fourth place in the Heart standings outright and will host a Heart Tournament Quarterfinal on Legacy Field next week.

Annabelle Hoog scored what proved to be the game-winning goal for the Ravens during the 38th minute and then Benedictine limited Grand View to 5 shots in the second half to earn the win.

Hoog started the scoring off for the match, netting her first goal during the 3rd minute. The Vikings pulled even during the 32nd minute on a goal from Anna Vander Waal off an assist from Vanessa Perez-Sandoval.

After Hoog pushed the Ravens back ahead, they finished the half with a 5-shot advantage in shots and went on to outshoot the Vikings 18-11. 

Olivia Berry earned the win in goal for the Ravens. She finished with five saves – two over the second half of play – as she withstood multiple runs by the Vikings. 

The win moves Benedictine to 12-6-0 overall and 9-3-0 in the Heart. The complete Heart women's schedule is not finished until Monday, so Benedictine will not officially know their Quarterfinal opponent until Monday night. The Ravens will host their match on Nov. 4 back on Legacy Field.
