OSKALOOSA, Iowa – The No. 6-ranked Raven Women's Lacrosse team returned to KCAC play on Friday with a 24-6 win over William Penn University.
Benedictine outscored William Penn 12-2 in the first quarter, scoring nine straight after the Statesmen scored the opening goal of the game.
Erica Odell led the Ravens in scoring with 8 goals and 2 assists. Natalie Wechter added 7 goals and 4 assists while Aiden McEnerney finished with 4 goals and 2 assists. Clare Ryan led the Ravens with 6 assists while adding a goal. Margaux Gelbach, Grace Simonson, Elizabeth Conley, and Rianna England joined Ryan with one goal each.
Defensively, The Ravens finished with 11 caused turnovers. Ryan and Odell led the way with three each. Wechter finished with 24 draw controls while Gianna Stalletti earned the win in goal for the Ravens.
Benedictine remains on the road for their next KCAC game, traveling to Canton, Mo., on Sunday to take on Culver-Stockton College.
