A four-game first quarter from No. 1-ranked St. Ambrose University allowed the Fighting Bees to walk off Legacy Field on Friday night with a 10-5 win Raven Men's Lacrosse.
The No. 8-ranked Ravens battled to within four at the half but just couldn't break through in the second half despite holding St. Ambrose to just three goals after halftime.
St. Ambrose scored four straight goals before Benedictine's Michael Hogan scored the Ravens first goal of the game off an assist from Joseph Doyle to start the second quarter. Doyle and Sean Molyneux scored two more goals for the Ravens in the period but were matched by three goals by the Fighting Bees to send the game into halftime with Benedictine trailing 7-3.

St. Ambrose held a slight edge in faceoffs, winning 11 of 19 to Benedictine 8 of 19. The Fighting Bees held a 43-41 advantage in shots while the Ravens held the advantage in ground balls, 27-26.
