Men's Basketball lost their third-straight game on Saturday.

The Ravens struggled shooting, falling to the William Penn University Statesmen 68-53.

The Ravens defense keyed their offense in the opening 20 minutes of play. The Ravens forced 13 Statesmen turnovers which turned into 13 points on the other end of the court. That helped offset the Statesmen's 26-13 rebounding edge. The Ravens entered the break down 34-32, shooting just 36.4% from the field in the first half.

Unfortunately the Ravens weren't able to find their shooting touch in the second half, either. The Ravens shot 29% from the field and hit just 1-of-11 from 3-point range in the second half. While the Ravens were still able to slow down the Statesmen in the second half, it wasn't enough to overcome 21 points, losing by a final of 68-53.

Preston Reynolds led the Ravens with 12 points and Haggan Hilgendorf added 10 points. The Ravens forced 27 Penn turnovers and assisted on 14 of their 21 made baskets, but weren't able to knock in enough to get the win.

Next up for the Ravens (3-8, 2-6 Heart) will be a 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19 contest against Baker University at home to close out the first semester of play.
