FREMONT, Neb. – (RV) Men's Lacrosse earned their fourth straight win on Tuesday, giving head coach Billy Dineen a 22-6 win over his former program.
Benedictine finished with 29 shots on goal while Midland finished with 32 total shots as the Ravens finished the game with a 43-32 advantage.
The Ravens jumped out to a 3-goal advantage with goals from Mac Postel Jr., Michael Hogan, and Jordan Rodriguez. The Ravens added 4 more goals before the end of the first quarter to take a commanding lead over the Warriors. By halftime, the Ravens extended their advantage to 11 goals at 13-2.
Five Ravens scored at least 3 goals in the win, led by 6 goals and 2 assists by Hogan while Rodriguez finished with finished the game with 3 goals and 5 assists. Joey Calabria, James Carson, and Paul Gordon added 3 goals and 2 assists. Liam Waldron, Aiden Richardson, and Joseph Bianchi joined Postel Jr. with a goal each.
Bianchi finished the game with 15 faceoffs won while adding 10 groundballs. Waldon and Charley McGlinn finished with 3 caused turnovers each as the Ravens finished the game with 19.
Jacob Clipperton got the start in goal for the Ravens. He finished with 6 saves over 40 minutes of action before Jerry Dalrymple played the final 18 minutes in goal.
Benedictine returns home for a Heart game on Friday at 3 p.m. against (7) Mount Vernon Nazarene.
