Benedictine Volleyball took care of Culver-Stockton College in three sets on Friday night as the program celebrated Senior Night.

Benedictine jumped out to an 11-6 lead in the first set only to have Culver answer with a 6-0 run that allowed them to pull ahead 13-11. Back-to-back kills for Hokulani Sagapolu sparked the Ravens back in front before adding two straight aces to put the Ravens up 19-15.

The Ravens continued to keep their advantage and held the Wildcats to a .051 attack percentage to take the first set by 6 points.

The second set went back and forth before Culver-Stockton used a 7-0 run to pull ahead of Benedictine by as much as five points twice. After the second five-point lead, the Ravens erased their deficit outscoring the Wildcats 13-6 to overcome a slow mid part of the set and earn the 27-25 win.

The third set started as a block party for Benedictine. Maura Lickteig combined with Regan Bruggeman and Sagapolu on four block assists to spark Benedictine out to a 6-1 lead. The Wildcat used a 3-0 run to play their way back into the set but never got closer than 2 points.
