OLATHE – Benedictine Volleyball suffered its second straight 4-set loss on Tuesday night as they opened up a 3-match road swing against MNU.

The Pioneers took the first two sets 25-20, 25-22 before the Ravens took the third set 25-21. MNU overcame a 5-point deficit in the fourth set to knock off Benedictine 25-23.

Benedictine finished the match with a .125 attack percentage and a total of 51 kills. Three Ravens finished in double figures led by Regan Bruggeman and Hokulani Sagapolu with 13 kills. Winny Harris added 10 kills to round out the Ravens hitters.

Haley Cahill anchored the Ravens attack, finishing the match with 41 assists as the Ravens finished with 50 total assists. 

Defensively, four Ravens finished in double figures with digs. Evelyn Arreola led the way with 38 digs, followed by Sagapolu with 17, Cate Milroy with 15 and Cahill with 11. Maura Lickteig led the Ravens front row with 5 block assists and 1 solo block. Sagapolu added 3 block assists while Cahill finished with 2 block assists and 1 solo block.

Benedictine continues its road swing, taking Clarke University on Friday night before taking Mount Mercy University on Saturday in the Heart Conference Network Game of the Week.
