ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Benedict Men's Soccer earned a strong road win on Saturday night against future Heart opponent Missouri Baptist University.
The Ravens scored during the 48th minute to earn a 1-0 over the Spartans to earn their second win of the week and move to 4-1-0 on the season.
Norberto Montero scored Benedictine's goal on an assist from Felipe Andrews early in the second half.
Benedictine erased an 8-2 deficit in shots in the second half, matching Missouri Baptist with 10 shots in the final 45 minutes of the match.
Noah Reuscher finished the match with 7 saves over 90 minutes as he picked up his second shutout of the season.
The Ravens remain on the road Wednesday, traveling to Seward, Neb., to take on Concordia University at 8 pm.
