Benedictine Women's Soccer pushed No. 14-ranked Central Methodist for 90 minutes on Wednesday night on Legacy Field.
After playing to a scoreless draw at the half, the teams traded second-half goals that saw CMU hold off a late push by Benedictine to earn a 2-1 win.

The game remained tied until the Heart's top scorer, Mariana Barreto. Barreto was able to turn and push a shot through the defense and past Raven keeper Madison Smith to push the Eagles ahead during the 77th minute.
The Ravens finished the game with 3 shots on goal while the Eagles finished with 8. Smith finished with a total of 6 saves over 90 minutes, which included four in the second half.
