CANTON, Mo. – Benedictine Women's Soccer got back in the win column on Saturday night with a 3-0 win over Culver-Stockton College.
The win marked the Ravens eighth shutout of the season and fifth in Heart play.
Payton Vogelbacher got the Ravens scoring started during the 20th minute on an assist from Christine Znidarsic.
The scored remained 1-0 Benedictine through halftime before Znidarsic added a goal during the 59th minute. Madison Casey and Taya Bigknife were both credited with assists on the Znidarsic goal.
Vogelbacher capped off the Ravens scoring with her 12th goal of the season during the 61st minute off an assist from Bigknife.
Benedictine finished the match with 8 total shots as Culver-Stockton finished with an 11-8 advantage. Six of the Ravens 8 shots were on goal as they finished with a 6-3 advantage in shots on goal.
Madison Smith earned the shutout in goal for the Ravens, recording 3 saves over 90 minutes.
Benedictine returns home on Friday, hosting Grand View University at 5 p.m. as part of Homecoming Weekend.
