HESSTON – Benedictine Women's Soccer closed out non-con play on Wednesday with a 4-0 win over the Larks of Hesston College.

The win for the Ravens extended their shutout streak to 270 minutes as they return to Heart play at 10 a.m. Saturday morning in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, against Mount Mercy University in the Heart Game of the Week against the Mustangs.

Wednesday night, it took the Ravens 1:53 to score the first goal of the match when Christine Znidarsic scored off an assist from Annie Wilken.

Just over 5 minutes later, Mollie Finley scored the first of two goals for the Ravens to make it 2-0 during the 7th minute before she added to the Ravens lead during the 17th minute off an assist from Rowan Yos.

The Ravens took their 3-0 advantage into the break with 14-2 advantage in shots before scoring their final goal during the 71st minute.

Isabel Agudelo made it 4-0 Ravens with an assisted goal that capped off the match for Benedictine.

Benedictine held a 13-5 advantage in shots on goal with 29 total shots.

Madison Smith earned the shutout in goal for the Ravens, scattering 5 assists over 90 minutes.

The Ravens and the Mustangs match Saturday was originally scheduled for 1 p.m., but was pushed up to an earlier start because of the forecasted heat and humidity levels on Cedar Rapids on Saturday.
