Women's Soccer closes out regular season with 10th shutout

FULTON, Mo. – Benedictine Women's Soccer closed out its regular season on Saturday with the 10th shutout of the season.

The Ravens earned a 6-0 win over William Woods University to lock in the No. 4 seed in the 2025 Heart Women's Soccer Postseason Championship Tournament. 

Benedictine finished the match with a 16-3 advantage in shots on goal as they scored inside the first three minutes of play.

Christine Znidarsic opened the scoring off an assist from Payton Vogelbacher during the third minute. Vogelbacher scored the next two goals for the Ravens, the first on a penalty kick during the 7th minute before Znidarsic returned the assist during the 14th minute as Vogelbacher made it 3-0.

The Ravens lead remained at 3 goals until the 66th minute when Mollie Finley scored off an assist from Ella Braunger. Annie Wilken scored during the 68th minute and the Finley assisted on a goal from Mara Loughman during the 69th minute to give the Ravens their six goals.

Campbell Gregory earned the start in goal for the Ravens, earning her first career shutout over 90 minutes as she finished with 2 saves. 

The Heart Postseason Tournament gets started with Quarterfinals on Wednesday with the top four seeds hosting.
