Women's Lacrosse remained unbeaten with a convincing win Saturday afternoon.
The (5) Ravens defeated the (RV) St. Thomas University Bobcats, 21-3.
The Ravens got off to a quick start, scoring their first goal just 38 seconds into the contest thanks to Chanterra Allen. The Ravens finished the opening period with a 9-0 lead as Kaylen Moore scored three times in the first quarter.
Despite the Bobcats scoring twice, the Ravens earned a running clock in the second quarter as they took a 14-2 lead into halftime.
The Ravens continued to dominate in the second half, outscoring the Bobcats 5-0 in the third quarter to increase their lead to 19-2.
The Ravens closed out the game for an 18-goal win.
Allen and Moore led the way with 5 goals, each, as Moore added 3 assists and Allen had 2 assists. Makenna Hill scored 4 goals and dished out 3 assists, Lile Chekas had 3 goals, and Alexa Hildenbrand had 3 assists to go with 1 goal.
The Ravens rotated three goalies between the pipes as Molly Owen earned the win while making 4 saves. Margaret Ritson made 1 save while Monica Klecan didn't face a shot during her time in net.
The game is the first of three-straight Florida schools making the trip to Atchison. The Ravens, (5-0) will take on Webber International at 12 p.m. Sunday, March 2 and then Ave Maria on Tuesday, March 4.
