LIVONIA, Mich. – Benedictine Men's Lacrosse wrapped up its Spring Break road trip with a 14-4 loss to No. 6 Madonna (Mich.).
The Crusaders held the Ravens scoreless in the first half as they held a 7-0 at the break after outshooting Benedictine 32-8.
The Ravens scored the first goal of the third quarter when Mason Eberle scored off an assist from Brayden Hope. Eberle finished the quarter with 3 goals, the second two were unassisted.
Jacob Meyer scored the final goal of the game for the Ravens to round out the offensive efforts.
Jack Northrup led the Ravens with 4 caused turnovers, while Deke Sanders added 2.
CJ Besuzzi finished the game with 17 saves in just over 51 minutes in goal before John Paul Evans finished off the game, recording 4 saves.
Benedictine returns to Kansas on Wednesday when they open up Heart play at Ottawa University at 6 p.m. They will play their home opener on March 22 at 4 p.m. against Missouri Valley College as the celebrate Senior Day and the 10th anniversary of Lacrosse at Benedictine.
