DAVENPORT. Iowa – Benedictine Women's Soccer hit the road for the first time this season on Saturday afternoon, taking on St. Ambrose University.
The Fighting Bees held the Ravens to just one goal, earning a 2-1 win over the Ravens.
Rowan Yows scored the Ravens loan goal during the 64th minute off an assist from Teya Bigknife.
Benedictine finished with a 10-3 advantage in shots with a total of 5 shots on goal, but couldn't get past SAU keeper Jonna Tucker, who finished with 4 saves. Madison Smith finished with 1 save for the Ravens in the loss.
The Ravens return home on Wednesday for a 5 p.m. match with the College of St. Mary.
