Women's Lacrosse dominated the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees, 26-1, Saturday on Senior Day.
The (1) Ravens led wire-to-wire, earning the outright Heart of America Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship with the win.
The Ravens didn't take long to earn a running clock, scoring their 10
th goal less than 9 minutes into the opening quarter. By the end of the opening 15 minutes, the Ravens held an 11-0 lead.
The Ravens lead increased to 15-1 by halftime.
Mackenna Hill led the way with 5 goals and
Kaylen Moore had 4 assists in the opening half. Moore also recorded her 100
th career caused turnover in the second quarter against the Bees.
The Ravens added 6 goals in the third quarter, then 5 more in the fourth quarter to close out the 25-goal win.
Hill's 6 goals were a game-high and she added 4 assists. Moore closed out the game with 4 goals and 4 assists, and
Kiera Russell,
Lile Chekas,
Regan Engle,
Lorelei Siegel and
Alexa Hildenbrand each scored 3 goals in the blowout win. Hildenbrand also added 4 assists as the Ravens had 15 assists on their 26 goals.
Molly Owen made 2 saves in goal for the Ravens as the home side out-shot the Bees 38-3 in shots on goal.
The Ravens (13-0, 5-0 Heart) will play Friday, April 17 at Mount Mercy University to close out the regular season.
