Women's Lacrosse closed out the Heart Tournament Championship with a 20-4 win against the Missouri Baptist University Spartans at home on Saturday.
The (1) Ravens dominated from start to finish, completing the regular season and postseason conference sweep.
The Ravens held a 3-0 lead late in the first quarter, then rattled off 4 goals in the final 4 minutes to take a 7-0 lead after one period of play.
That lead was pushed to 11-0 in the second quarter before the Spartans were able to score right before the halftime buzzer.
The second half continued the Ravens strong play as they outscored the Spartans 9-3 in the final 30 minutes.
Molly Owen finished with 8 saves in goal.
Lorelei Siegel scored a team-high 5 goals and had 2 assists.
Mackenna Hill,
Kaylen Moore and
Kiera Russell each scored 3 goals, and Moore had 4 assists and 11 draw controls.
Lile Chekas and
Alexa Hildenbrand both scored 2 goals, and Hildenbrand had a team-high 5 assists.
The Ravens (16-0) will now wait to find out their opponent in the opening round of the National Tournament. Check
