NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its final honors for the 2026 season on Wednesday and Benedictine College Women's Lacrosse earned additional honors.
As a program, the Ravens were named to the NAIA Academic Honor Squad, which recognized a total of nine NAIA programs. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
Benedictine posted an overall team GPA of 3.326 for the 2025-26 academic year while posting a 3.330 GPA during their NAIA Championship run during the Spring semester.
In addition to the Academc Honor Squad honors, Chanterra Allen, Regan Engle and Mackenna Hill were each named to the NAIA Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
The program was previously named the NAIA Community Awareness Award winner by the IWLCA while head coach Clare Hanson and assistant coach Makenzie Petersen was recognized as the IWLCA NAIA Coaching Staff of the Year.
Benedictine posted its third overall NAIA National Championship in 2026, while becoming the first NAIA program to win back-to-back title in the championship era of NAIA Women's Lacrosse. They went 19-0, beating SCAD-Savannah 18-10 in the Championship Game in Decatur, Ala., on May 15.
