Men's Soccer picked up its first win of the 2026 campaign on Thursday afternoon.
The Ravens defeated the Bellevue University Bruins 3-2, scoring twice in the second half to earn the victory.
The Ravens held a 1-0 lead at halftime but the Bruins quickly leveled the score in the second, scoring less than 5 minutes in to make it 1-1.
The Ravens regained the lead with 27:36 left on the clock.
Kody Argaez played a ball forward for
Haruki Kervers who cut to his left and beat the keeper for a 2-1 Ravens lead.
Nico Rowe scored his second goal of the game moments later to give the Ravens a 3-1 lead. Rowe received a cross from
Henry Mullen and slotted it past the keeper for the crucial 2-goal lead.
The Bruins were able to score again with 3:26 to play, pulling to within a goal at 3-2. However, the Ravens iced the remainder of the game to improve to 1-1 on the season.

Noah Reuscher made 5 saves in goal, including a crucial stretch of saves in the opening half.
The Bruins held the majority of possession in the first half, but the Ravens created the first opportunity within the opening 10 minutes. Argaez had a look inside the box but a solid challenge from the Bellevue defender forced his shot high.
Reuscher came up big in goal for the Ravens later in the half, making saves on three-straight corner kicks from the Bruins.
The Ravens broke through with just over 7 minutes to play in the half.
Juan Piratova sent a long free kick into the box that was one-touched by
Evan Frank to Rowe, and Rowe headed it past the Bruins keeper that gave the Ravens a 1-0 halftime lead.
The Ravens attack added two more goals in the second half to earn the win.
The Ravens remain at home for their next contest, a 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 tilt against No. 16 Ottawa University.
