MARSHALL, Mo. – Benedictine Men's soccer earned its second win of the Heart schedule on Tuesday night, beating Missouri Valley College 3-1.
The win for the Ravens marked their second straight against the Vikings on the road after earning a 4-0 win last season.
All four goals came during the first half of Tuesday night's match. After Missouri Valley struck first during the 12th minute of play, the Ravens scored three unanswered to earn the win.
Kody Argaez hit the equalizer for the Ravens during the 18th minute on a penalty kick. He assisted on the go-ahead goal scored by Juan Hernandez during the 23rd minute and the capped off the Ravens scoring with an unassisted goal during the 34th minute.
Noah Reuscher earned the win in goal for the Ravens, finishing the match with 2 saves.
Argaez finished with 3 shots, all on goal, while Hernandez added 2 shots.
Benedictine remains on the road Saturday, traveling to Dubuque, Iowa, to take on Clarke University.
