DUBUQUE, Iowa – (RV) Benedictine Men's Soccer picked up its second draw in Heart of America Athletic Conference play on Saturday afternoon against Clarke University.
Benedictine played through a scoreless draw against the Pride until Clarke scored during the 62nd minute of the match.
The Ravens hit the equalizer during the 87th minute of the match on a penalty kick from Kody Argaez. The penalty kick was the result of a foul inside the box.
Benedictine finished with a total of 9 shots, 8 of which came in the second half as they finished with 4 total shots on goal.
Noah Reuscher went the distance in goal for the Ravens, recording 6 saves over 90 minutes two of which came in the second half to help keep the Ravens within striking distance.
Argaez finished with three total shots, all of which were on goal while Evan Frank recorded the other shot on goal.
Benedictine returns home on Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. with current NAIA No. 21 and defending NAIA National Champions, Grand View University on Legacy Field.
