Benedictine College men's basketball head coach Ryan Moody has announced the Ravens' 2026-27 recruiting class, welcoming guard Noah Martens and forward Jevin Sullivan to the program.
"We are excited to add Noah and Jevin to the Raven basketball family," Moody said. "They are both high-character, academically driven, talented and tough. Noah comes from a winning high school program at Dowling Catholic. He has great basketball IQ and vision, and he will add depth to our lead guard spot.
"Jevin brings a wealth of college basketball experience to the program. He is a rugged forward who can score at multiple levels and has great instincts and vision. These two young men, combined with our 14 returners, have us excited to begin the 2026-27 season."

Martens joins the Ravens after helping lead Dowling Catholic to the 4A state semifinals and an overall record of 21-4 during the 2025-26 season. He averaged 13.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.
Martens earned several postseason honors for his performance, including Central Iowa Metro League First Team All-Conference, 4A First Team All-State and 4A All-Tournament Team honors.
Jevin Sullivan | Forward | 6-5 | Elkhart, Iowa | North Polk High School | UMKC | Southwest Baptist University
Sullivan brings significant collegiate experience to the Benedictine program after spending the previous two seasons at Southwest Baptist University. He played in 54 games and started 44 during his two seasons with the Bearcats.
During the 2025-26 season, Sullivan averaged 10.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game while shooting 50 percent from the field and 78 percent from the free-throw line.
Sullivan began his collegiate career at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he played in 30 games and made four starts as a freshman. He redshirted his second season at UMKC.
A standout at North Polk High School in Iowa, Sullivan finished his high school career as the school's all-time leading scorer.
The addition of Martens and Sullivan gives Benedictine two new pieces as the Ravens prepare for the 2026-27 season. Benedictine opens their season on Oct. 27 at home with Haskell Indian Nations University.
