KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With the conclusion of the NAIA National Championships over the weekend, the Association released the 2025 Women's Lacrosse All-America Team on Thursday.
Benedictine head coach Clare Hanson was named the Coach of the Year, while Kaylen Moore was named the Player of the Year.
Moore was also one of three first-team selections, as she was named a midfielder. Chanterra Allen was named a first-team attacker, and Ava Moore was named a first-team defender. Molly Owen was named a second-team goalie, and Kiera Russell was named a third-team midfielder.
The program wrapped up the third-ever undefeated season in NAIA history when they earned a 21-15 win over the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.).Their 21 wins set a new single-season record for wins and consecutive wins for the NAIA. The team set four new tournament records for the tournament – 56 goals, 111 total shots, 56 total draw controls, and 38 caused turnovers. They also set three single-game records in this year's National Tournament. They tallied 14 assists against SCAD, 46 shots against Cumberlands, and 25 draw controls against SCAD.
Kaylen Moore led the NAIA this season in assists with 68 and was second in points with 159 (91 goals, 68 assists). She broke two NAIA individual season records with 205 draw controls and her assist total. The previous record for draw controls stood at 185, while the previous record for assists stood at 65.
Allen was the NAIA lead in goals, setting a new single-season record with 132 goals. She also led the NAIA in points at 166 (132 goals, 34 assists). Her 6.3 goals per game average also set a new single-season NAIA record, breaking he previous record of 6.0. The previous record for single-season goals stood at 114.
Ava Moore was part of a defense that limited opponents to just 5.52 goals per game. She led the Raven defenders with 21 caused turnovers while tallying 25 ground balls.
Owen finished the year with a .477 save percentage while her 6.45 goals-against average was tops in the NAIA. She recorded 92 saves while posting a 21-0 record in goal.
Russell ranked 11th in the NAIA in draw controls with 77 while adding 77 points (54 goals, 23 assists) offensively. She finished the season with 17 caused turnovers and 51 ground balls.
