CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Benedictine Men's Track & Field had banner weekend on Friday and Saturday at the annual Heart of America Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Mount Mercy University.
Holding a narrow lead headed into the final two events of the meet, Joshua Melendez and Joseph Accurso finished first and second in the 5,000 meters to clinch the 2026 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
