Joe Loughman headlines USTFCCCA Academic honors for Track & Field program

NEW ORLEANS – Sophomore Joe Loughman headlined a list of academic honors earned by the Benedictine Track & Field Program on Tuesday as the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its annual All-Academic Athletes, All-Academic Teams along with Indoor and Outdoor Scholar Athletes of the Year.

Loughman was named the 2026 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track Field Scholar Athlete of the Year. He carried a 3.50 GPA this year while winning the 2026 NAIA Men's Javelin National Championship.

Both the Raven Men and Raven Women were named as All-Academic Teams. The Raven Men earned an overall team GPA of 3.25 while the Raven Women earned an overall team GPA of 3.46.

The following Raven Women were named as All-Academic Athletes: 

Catherine Aaron (Architecture), Anna Campbell (Architecture), Cecelia Campos (Nursing), Maria Connealy (Graphic Design), Brynna Gormley (Athletic Health Care), Madison Helten (Education), Leah Kuhn (Architecture), Mary Lorang (Biology), Siena Michael (Philosophy), Emilie Nelson (Architecture), Betsy Skendzel (Undeclared), Antonia Smith (Graphic Design), and Annie Wilken (Undeclared).

The following Raven Men were named as All-Academic Athletes: Sam Bartoszek (Political Science), Joe Loughman (Undeclared), Owen Nolte (Economics), and Andrew Peuster (Mechanical Engineering).
