Benedictine Football and head coach Joel Osborn have announced the group of captains for the 2026 season.

This year's group is made of eight players off the offense and defense and were selected by their teammates and coaches.

"As a group, our captains have played in a lot of big games as Ravens. Our players and coaches have once again done an outstanding job selecting the group to represent them as captains for the 2026 season. This group has continued to do what has been asked of them on and off the field, achieving success on the field and in the classroom. They have continued to do all of that with integrity and are a great representation of our program."

This season's group of captains are Dylan Witherspoon (S), Joey Abrams – (Edge), Eddie Swisloski (OL), Joseph Lagafuiana (WR), Kameron Dover (WR), Trey Williams (CB), Isaiah Hasten (S/WR), and Ben Gilliland (LB).

The Ravens open the season with a pair of road trips, first during Week 0 against 2025 NAIA FCS qualifier Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa, on August. 29, before taking on Heart North opponent Peru State College during Week 1 in Peru, Neb.

The Ravens will open up the five-game home schedule Sept. 12 with the annual Stars & Stripes Game against William Penn University at 1 p.m. inside Larry Wilcox Stadium.
