Men's Basketball returns to Ralph Nolan Gymnasium at 2 p.m. Saturday

Benedictine plays just its second game on Dugan Jones Court of the season today, hosting the Clarke University Pride. Benedictine has won the previous three meetings with the Pride, including a 79-70 win inside Ralph Nolan Gymnasium back on Nov. 18, 2023.

About Clarke: Clarke University enters today's game with Benedictine searching for its first win of the season as they are 0-5 overall and off to an 0-2 start to the season. They didn't play on Wednesday, due to condensation issues on the court at Grand View University. The Pride are looking to snap a 7-game losing streak dating back to Feb. 21, 2024, when they dropped their last two games of the 2023-24 season. ... Clarke's Maximilliano Bowman leads the Pride in scoring at 14.0 points and rebounds at 6.4 per game. His season high through 5 games is 22, scoring that number twice on Nov. 2 against NCAA Div. III Coe College and against on No. 13 against Graceland. ... Clark is one of four teams off to a 0-2 start in Heart play. Grand View, Mount Mercy, and Culver-Stockton are tied with Clarke while Missouri Valley is 0-3. Clarke and Culver-Stockton are the only two teams overall on the season still searching for their first win of the season. 

About Benedictine: Benedictine's Jack Vander Woude enters play today tied for fifth in the Heart in total 3-pointers. In 6 games this season, he has 16 total 3-pointers and is shooting 34.8 percent from beyond the arc. In 2 conference games, Vander Woude leads the Heart with an average of 4.5 made 3-pointers.
