CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – No. 22-ranked Benedictine Softball will open up the Heart Softball Conference Tournament today at approximately 8:30 p.m. as the No. 3 seed in the tournament.
Weather has already forced games to be pushed back, so the first day's schedule starts at 1:30 p.m. with games playing every two and half hours following.
Benedictine finished the season at 36-12 and will take on the No. 6 seeded Mount Mercy University Mustangs at the Robert W. Plaster Athletic Complex on the campus of Mount Mercy.
The Ravens swept the regular-season doubleheader over the Mustangs in Cedar Rapids on April 6, 6-3 and 6-5.
The winner of the Benedictine-Mount Mercy game will play the winner of the No. 2 Baker vs. No. 7 Missouri Valley game at 5 p.m. Friday in game 8 of the Championship. The loser of the Ravens-Mustangs game, moves to the consolation bracket and will play at Noon on Friday in game 6.

Tickets may be purchased at the gate of the complex and are CASH Only. Prices are $10 for a single day pass, college students with ID $5, and Children under 10 are FREE.
